20 x 16″ Watercolor with custom framing ~ $850 SOLD
I have just finished a new watercolor that I enjoyed creating very much. Stone Bridge was built in the 1920s over the Little River in North Florida. Workers hauled in concrete in wheelbarrows … a process that was so tedious and labor intensive that it must have taken a zillion! The bridge is no longer in use but remains a beautiful testament to architecture of the past.
I will include this piece along with my other watercolor paintings for show and sale at next weekend’s Artisphere art festival in Greenville, SC. 2018 is the the 14th annual show, and there was a record high 1,163 artist applications for this event compared to last year’s 1,136 applications- a 2% increase over 2017 and a 312% increase since the show’s inception in 2005. So I am VERY excited to be a part of this event after my first experience in 2017. Downtown Greenville is just beautiful, and the number of artists and quality of their work is truly breath-taking. I have a lot of work to complete in the coming week!
