This watercolor I have titled “Gray” as both the sky and the weathered barn wood provide this contrast for the bright, vibrant trees and the grasses that are growing in the field in the foreground. I can just imagine what that will smell like when they cut it, making hay!

I am so pleased to have my watercolor “Stone Mountain Cabin” selected as the 2nd place winner for the 2020 Cleveland County Arts Council show! Here is a link to the 6:20 video of the award announcements, with my piece showcased at 2:50.
“Shunkawauken Falls”
Shunkawauken Falls is a roadside 150-foot tall waterfall just outside Columbus (near Tryon and Saluda) on the twisting, scenic White Oak Mountain Road. The photo my husband Bob took on a recent outing that we enjoyed made for a perfect composition for this long, tall, gallery wrap canvas.
