With some quiet time during the holiday season, I’ve started a new, rather ambitious watercolor. It is so big, I had to start working on it on the floor with a drop cloth. Once I get farther down the paper, I’ll be able to put it on my table and reach everything for continued work. It is 35 x 28″ in size. I haven’t decided on a title yet, but it is the Oconoluftee river in Smoky Mountain National Park. I’m looking forward to the new year! Happy 2019 all!
Good news today! I found out that for the third year running, I was accepted to the Artisphere weekend event in Greenville, SC, May 10-12. YAY! So I’ll be working on other new watercolors to show and sell that in that art show and sale. This is an amazing event, and I’m really happy to be participating again this year.
I have finished two new watercolors, and am very happy with the end result for each of them. The first is titled “Old Dairy Barn”. It is 21 x 14″, a framed watercolor, ready to hang, available for sale for $650.
The second is titled “Tom Branch Waterfall”. It is a 14 x 18″ framed watercolor, ready to hang, and available for sale for $675.
